Management Coaching

Managing people is one of the most difficult aspects of the job. Sometimes it can be very helpful to collaborate on your management issues and opportunities with an objective and experienced expert. I support many clients as their management coach to help them creatively and effectively problem-solve their management challenges.

What is management coaching useful for?

Management coaching is utilizing an experienced professional to support you in better understanding and coming up with effective solutions to management challenges. These challenges often pertain to team dynamics, team effectiveness and efficiency, personnel issues, organizational concerns, politics, accountability, governance, situational challenges, team building, misalignment, performance, board and leadership dynamics, communication, collaboration, and other management challenges.

What is a management coaching session like?

Typically clients simply sign up for an hour or two of coaching, which you can do below. Then, it is helpful, if there is any background material you can send over to help with context. We then have a video meeting to discuss the situation and begin collaboratively problem solving diagnosing the issues and coming up with effective solutions. I’ll ask a fair amount of questions and work with you to develop a clear understanding of the issues and opportunities, create compelling solutions and strategies, and next steps. Strategy coaching sessions spark a lot of creative thinking, out-of-the-box solutions, and clarity. Clients enjoy the interaction, learn a lot, and appreciate the collaboration with an objective non-biased expert.
